Following the success of the first Unbuttoned concert with the Britten Sinfonia in 2011, Unbuttoned is back, presenting the very best in classical music, in the round and in a relaxed and informal style
After a quite brilliant concert as part of the 2011 Bury Festival, the Brodsky Quartet returns to Bury St Edmunds. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the quartet has devised a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ comprising 40 of their favourite quartets and short pieces. Throughout the evening, the programme will be chosen in an informal and fun way with the wheel spun 3 to 4 times and the quartet playing the pieces chosen by the wheel.
The evening will feel like an ‘Audience with the Brodskys’ as they discuss the music throughout and invite questions from the audience.
Performance starts at 7.30pm
Tickets are £16 (£14 concessions), £5 tickets are available for those 25yrs of age and under. These tickets will remain at the box office for collection upon proof of entitlement
