Mix ‘n’ Blend will be celebrating local talent at the apex on Friday 17 February

Starting from 2.30pm there will be free events throughout the building:
Acoustic Music & Exhibition
Live acoustic music in the apex café from BurySound Unplugged. Relax and chill with friends, take a look around the exhibition, and enjoy great live music on your Friday afternoon.
Workshop Activities
FREE Headshots photo shoot, a venue tour, and workshops:
Drama Workshop - led by staff and young people from the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, the 1 hour drama workshop is the perfect way to enjoy yourself
Dance Workshop - led by artists from SIN Cru this free workshop will help you explore and improve your dance technique
Great Gifts - Young Enterprise companies will be set up in the foyer for you to buy great products and support other local young people whilst you're at it

Followed by an evening full of local talent including Music, Dance and Comedy, this affordable night is a fantastic mix of arts – with something for everyone.

Live performances kick off at 6.30pm and include;
Nik Lowe - A successful young musician from Bury St Edmunds with quite a following,
Lewis Mokler - Winner of Bury Sound 2011
Danielle Scharpf - A Newmarket based young singer-songwriter from America and a finalist at BurySound 2011 with her fabulous piano playing.
Noise Solution - young music producers from Bury working towards their Arts Awards.
Elize Kellman - A 21 year old Gold Arts Award student from London. Elize has helped organise the event.
Monet - Formed from some of the best talent Bury St Edmund's has to offer, this band will be performing their debut show.
The Façade - A new 5 piece indie band from Bury St Edmunds. Featuring Jonny Elstone, Becky Irvin, Matt Elstone, Sam Malcolm and Dom Seymour.
Cathedrals and Cars - Featured on BBC Suffolk Introducing. A young local 3 piece band who reached the finals of Burysound 2011 and produced the EP Sky Lantern.
Sin Cru - A collective of dancers, musicians and visual artists.
Theatre Train - A long established Bury based stage school with regular west end shows
MC for the night is Chris Norton Walker, "one of the best up and coming acts around" - Funny First Mondays
